This blogpost contains our very first Press Release, which talks about our mission and reveals our environmental "moon shot" to shift 90% of our production to eco-sustainable fabrics by 2025!
For Halloween, I went on a sunrise sober dance party cruise and it was magical silly fun...
On the way home, I was so excited to look at all of the photos I had taken. The first thought when I saw a few of them was, "Sheesh! My arms look huge in this photo. Ugh, I have totally put on weight." Now, I am going to totally bust myself here and be 100% honest. I actually went through and deleted a bunch of awesome photos of me having fun with my friends or I cropped them so that my body looked more “flattering.”
...The truth is we are perfect in our imperfections, our bodies are miracles, and we are good enough just the way we are...
Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos), the Mexican holiday celebrated on November 1st and 2nd, has become my favorite holiday. I love that in addition to the vibrant visuals: face paint, sugar skulls, beautiful altars, and marigolds, it is steeped in tradition and deeper meaning.
"Looking in my crystal ball, I see that you should dress as a Fortune Teller for Halloween. It will be super-easy, super-fun, and will bring you fame, fortune, and true happiness!"
You're late, you're late... for a very important date! That date is October 31, and if you haven't figured out your Halloween costume yet, it's getting a bit late! But not to worry: if you don't know where you're going, any road can will get you there. And, there are several ways to go from Dare Fashion into Wonderland...
How do you overcome flagrant male oppression? In Gotham City, you can rise up, become an anti-heroine, and put the BAD in badass!
1. Girl pirates are super badass.
2. You can make a pirate costume out of almost any Dare Fashion top.
3. You get to say fun stuff like, "Arrrrgh! Swab those decks ye landlubbers, or you'll be walking the plank straight into Davy Jones's Locker!"

HALLOWEEN IS RAPIDLY APPROACHING, GUYS!
...This year? I TRIED BEETLEJUICE (Betelgeuse if you must)! Aka the gem of a character that was played by Michael Keaton two years after I was born... but that doesn’t stop me from using an entire can of green hair coloring.
I'm Natty C: Self Love Warrior. "To thine own self, be love" is how I try to live every moment of every day. It hasn't always been this way. Like most people, my teenage years were rough... I spent a lot of time feeling like I wasn't good enough and that I was different than everybody else. Much of my self loathing came from being really overweight while being surrounded by extremely thin girls at the performing arts high school I attended. Going shopping was a horrid, tear-filled experience because I could never fit into any of the stores my friends were going to. Wet Seal? Teeny clothes. Contempo Casual? Nope. 5,7,9? I needed 18, 20, 22.
Among the images for each product listing is a style-specific size chart. For our tops and dresses, you can get your Dare size with ONLY ONE measurement!
Please use the size charts as a guideline. Our fashion is made to these specifications, but due to variations in the stretchiness of the fabric and how it is sewn, there may be some slight deviations from this chart. But please rest assured, all of our styles are designed to fit a range of body types, with features such as stretch fabrics, corset lace-ups, and spaghetti ties in the back to customize the fit.
And did we mention... if it doesn’t fit, you can return it, no questions asked! So buy with confidence. And if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us - we're here to help!
